What web accessibility is
Web accessibility means that all visitors, including those with disabilities, can navigate our site with ease and enjoyment. By employing assistive technologies and designing our site thoughtfully, we aim to provide an inclusive online experience.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We are working to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This is an ongoing effort rather than a certified or independently tested outcome. As part of this initiative, we have:
-
Utilised accessibility tools to identify and rectify potential issues
-
Defined the language of the site
-
Organised content order for optimal navigation
-
Created clear heading structures across all pages
-
Provided alternative text for all images
-
Implemented colour schemes with sufficient contrast
-
Minimised motion effects on the site
-
Ensured accessibility for all multimedia content
We acknowledge that some content may not fully meet accessibility standards
Some pages, including those with elements from external or third-party sources we don't control, may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. We are actively working to identify and address these gaps over time.
